History
Duds N Suds was founded in 1983 by a student of Iowa State University. It is an Iowa born franchise. There are locations throughout the
United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. All locations are locally owned and operated. There are two locations in Des Moines,
2629 Beaver Avenue and 2552 Hubbell. Both of these locations have been in business over 10 years.

Duds N Suds was the first to start a new trend in laundries with an atmosphere full of rewards for the customer. It is the combination
of a self service laundry, dry cleaners and entertainment center with big screen TV, video games and refreshments to create a relaxing
home-like environment.

What’s Clean? 

Our stores and machines are continuously cleaned by our friendly, helpful fulltime attendants. 

Large capacity washers and dryers are perfect for those large household items, including rugs, comforters, sleeping bags, etc. 

Professional wash-dry-fold service. Simply drop-off your laundry and when you return it will be washed, dried, folded and packaged for you. Our wash-dry-fold service includes, at no extra charge, detergent, bleach and fabric softener dryer sheets. Some stores provide hangers, poly bags, and pre-treat stains and collars. 

Wash-dry-fold laundry is priced by the pound. Just ask the attendant for our economical rates. 

Pick-up and delivery service, with the wash-dry-fold service, is available at many locations. Please ask the attendant.

Economical, professional dry cleaning and shirt service at many of our stores. Please ask the attendant for a description of these services and current rates.

 What’s Fun?

An Ice-cold soft drink, hot coffee or other delicious beverage. Some stores also offer beer and wine coolers. Our large sizes always offer the best value.

Popcorn, Frito Lay chips, candy, cookies, and other fresh snacks are always available.
